BMTC are looking for 12 talented children to take the challenging parts of the Von Trapp children in their forthcoming production of ‘The Sound of Music’. We require 8 girls and 4 boys, aged between 8 - 16 who must be able to sing and act in these demanding roles in the show, which takes place at Bridgnorth Sports and Leisure Centre during the week commencing 18th February 2013. The children will perform on alternate nights in 2 groups of six.

Rehearsals are in Bridgnorth on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings starting in September. 

Auditions will be in 2 stages on Saturday 7th and Sunday 15th July between 10:00am – 12:00pm at Castlefields Primary School, Castlefields, Bridgnorth, WV16 5DQ.

Children who come through the first audition on the 7th will be asked to return for further auditions on the 15th. Children will be asked to perform a prepared piece i.e. song, poem, dialogue etc. no more than 3 minutes long.

Please note the part of the oldest child Liesl will be auditioned with our main principals on Sun Sept 16th. Any girl wanting to audition for this part should attend our presentation night on Weds July 11th and first rehearsal on Weds Sept 5th at the same venue.
